Christmas is almost here and this one specific song keeps playing through on my head. This one, damned song.
It’s once a year, it’s Christmas time!
And it happens once a year.
It’s once a year, it’s Christmas time!
When we hear about how Christmas only comes
Once a year.
That song – Christmas Time is Once a Year, written by Trey Parker – describes my feelings towards Christmas. It’s once a year. Thank god. Damn woodland critters.
Ahem. Proceeding.
This year I decided to jump on the bandwagon, albeit we’re a bit late I suppose.
To be honest, I would’ve really wanted more from the photoshoot; I would’ve wanted to go out and shoot in a proper environments, but we ran out of time. We had initially planned the project to be shot over a week earlier, but it had to be moved to just few days before Christmas due to work exhaustion.
Instead we baked at my place. Well, I didn’t do much other than took photos, directed the model and was in the way of the process of baking. All the time. So all credit to the wonderful model baking all the delicious Christmas tarts and gingerbreads, as is tradition.
Nonetheless, merry Christmas, happy holidays and here’s to hoping on getting any snow at all here in Finland. Not much hope left, though – at least Christmas isn’t getting any snow according to the forecasts.
As usual, the behind the scenes and outtake photos will be released few days after. Probably with some video, too.

Latex used in the project:
Metallic green Princess Catsuit by Libidex
Very festive. Love it.
How long was the model in the catsuit making that? Did she not sweat a lot?
Great photos
Well, even though there’s no snow on the ground, it’s still rather cold here. Latex does not insulate well!
I love this set Tuomas, I wish the model was drinking Egg Nog, it would have made it even more festive, but hey it still was a great set, happy holidays Tuomas and the rest of the Project L team and models
Glad to hear that! To be honest, egg nog isn’t really a tradition up here in Finland – instead we drink glühwein or just plain “glögi”, that gets its taste from spices.
Eine sehr schöne Fotoserie mit einem tollen Model. Gratuliere
Damn, no feet shots! Did the catsuit have attached feet? its very important to know lol.
Nope! It’s the same suit from Part 38 shot in Nuuksio.
Nooooo! lol Still great images Tuomas, much appreciated.
Beautiful pictures, as usual. To be honest, I find that people wearing latex while doing normal daily chores to be more interesting than when you go shooting in an abandoned building or something similar. It becomes much less about what they are wearing and about what they are doing, which is a nice contrast to the eyecatching shine of rubber.
Thanks for the feedback! I really have a difficult time deciding whether an environment is interesting enough and whether I can get enough interesting angles, details and such from it.
I like your page , cool idea , great pictures invite you to Polish
I agree that the photoshoot where you are doing things in normal situations are more appealing than a photoshoot in one place with the static model posing.
I see the catsuit is a little loose, would the next size down be a better fit for her?
Also, I find the rear zipper to be too restrictive when sitting down, how does the model like wearing latex and did she make mention of the zipper? I assume she likes latex because she has worn it a few different times.
With winter and your low light in Finland, how about a photoshoot at a mall. The reaction of the model and or the public would be interesting.
Keep up the great work, I look forward to part 45.
