For the entirety of May we’ve had a historical heat wave going on. Just as the month changed to June, on the very same day as we had this photoshoot, the weather turned its pillow around to get its cool side—and so did the weather change to its cooler side as well, and so did arrive relatively strong gusts of wind.
Lucky for us, to be honest, because layering a skirt on top of a latex body, on top of a latex catsuit makes the weather seem way hotter than it usually is.
Would you guess that getting dressed in a three-layered latex catsuit in the bush, right next to a walking path would be a little difficult?
Well, it was! Somehow, though, Bunny survived through discretely. We did found a little problem in her catsuit, though, as the zipper had lost a few teeth—but it’s very likely an easy fix.
Hopefully.
The first glimpses to Lake Tuusula reminded us of the lake’s history as the final resting place of all the manure that were spread to nearby fields in the few dozen years.
Since 1970s, there have been attempts at reducing the lake’s eutrophication, and—truth be told—the attempts have made quite a lot of progress. Currently there’s even oxygen available below two meters! Although, in the late summer, cyanobacteria is a huge problem, preventing people from swimming in the water.
At this point of the photoshoot we still had some sunshine left, and we were happily enjoying its remnants. It’s a very rare occasion to see Bunny in sunshine, as our previous photoshoots have been either rainy or very cloudy.
Still, one thing unites almost all of them; murky water. Murky, nasty, brown water.
I swear, most of the 187,888 (yes, that’s a six-figure integral, not a decimal) lakes in Finland are very healthy!
No walk next to a lake is complete without finding a pier of some sort. At this point we had barely any sunshine left, but we were still enjoying our peace at the so-called beach.
That’s right, there weren’t really anybody around. I mean, it was a work day for those lucky souls who happen to be employed, but the Finnish summer holidays have already started for some.
It might have been the fact that previous weeks have been so hot, so that this day felt pretty damn cold.
Those stupid metallic poles in the background ruined many angles. As I’m kind of a purist sometimes, I really didn’t want to edit them out from the images either, so I did my best to play with their slanted geometric shapes.
Ultimately they added very little to the images—besides, of course, the fourth image below that looks remotely like Bunny has a hard-on.
Yes, it was intended.
Yes, I’m very mature.
Bunny channels her inner David Hasselhoff with his iconic slow-motion Baywatch run. Due to copyright issues, we can’t add the song here, so you can just imagine it playing.
I’ll be ready Never you fear I’ll be ready Forever and always I’m always here I’ll be ready (I’ll be ready)
There.
I know it ain’t no Chekhov’s gun or anything, but you know, introducing a lake into the project has its significance.
So of course I made Bunny go into the lake. To the murky, brown lake that used to be the final home for tons and tons of manure.
So to the lake she went.
(It was her idea, but this way it sounds kind of funnier.)
If you’re wondering about Bunny’s, well, ehm, peculiar expressions in some images, it’s either because of the tentacle monster in the lake, or that the so-called beach is formed of small stones, most of which are quite sharp to step on.
Either one, can’t really tell from these images.
I’m leaning a bit to the tentacle monster’s side on this one. It’s impossible to see!
A funny story, by the way—or, not that funny, actually quite the opposite, literally—many years ago, during a local blues festival, a man fell into the lake just at this spot, one meter away from the pier, and drowned.
It took over an hour from the divers to recover the body, as the visibility in the water is so bad. The body was still one meter away from the pier.
I remember being there, but as a careless kid, I was just jumping on the bouncing castle, probably listening to Fröbelin Palikat from the kids’ stage and wondering why a helicopter was hovering right next to the pier.
Oh. Right. Project L. Not dead people nor kids’ songs.
Ahem.
Let’s continue.
After Bunny’s catsuit was filled with the brown water and its smelly residues, we decided that perhaps it was best to call it a day and not let them soak into her as well as latex.
Latex is, by the way, very porous and takes on smells very easily. It’s very difficult to get rid of the smell of smoke, especially tobacco smoke, or, as I’m told by Bunny, smell of straberry jam.
Don’t ask me how she knows that.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this project! A little reminder though—as I’m currently unemployed, I’d be extremely thankful if you could have a look at Project L’s Patreon, where you can support our little latex art project. It’s not mandatory though, as I intend to keep these projects as available as possible for as long as I can afford!

Keep up the amazing work, it is wonderful to see latex in such a natural environment instead of dungeons with a dominatrix. Natural world, natural face, natural latex is the way forward.
Really look forward to each project, I hope to one day do a similar style here in the uk thanks to your inspiration.
