Spring has arrived!
Not the kind of circly metal thing that keeps your garage door up, but the kind of season that—usually—follows right after winter.
Despite the bloody h*cking freezing weather, pardon my French, the trees had started blooming early, thanks to two days of relatively warm weather.
Someone just forgot to tell the God of Weather that the warm weather should continue… Or perhaps we didn’t deserve it.
Anyhow, this photo shoot has backstory! Bunny sent me a photo of the cherry blossoms with a message: “You should feature this in your project”.
I was like, yes, yes I should. “How’s your schedule,” I inquired her.
And then we decided to shoot on the next day
And that’s the big backstory. Huge.
Bunny has also a pink translucent catsuit—which we considered using—but it has the small, tinsy winsy weeny problem of being translucent, which is not very suitable for, you know, public places.
We’re not trying to be kinky here, folks, we’re trying to normalise latex clothing, to show it as a casual option for everyday life—so we are at least trying to have some elegance and overall decent behaviour with our little latex art project.
And we’re trying very hard.
Just look at this absolutely beautiful dress twirl! Bunny’s pink latex corset and the bow really add to the look, enhancing the overall pinkness of the park.
Pink, pink, pink.
It’s all Bunny is about!
To shoot at one single, flat park, sized around one hectare—that’s 2.471 acres for you silly imperial-measurement-using sillies—has only a limited amount of angles and compositions to use.
We did our best to squeeze in as much pink content as we could. It didn’t just seem… proper to add anything not pink. Pink is good. Pink is life.
We’re all pink from the inside anyhow, aren’t we?
In Finland, the city of Kerava has a relatively negative reputation. It is widely known as a city where someone might punch you in your face while you’re waiting for your finest makkispekkikset at the local burger stall.
I’ve personally never experienced this, and the reputation springs strongly from old jokes and the long history of blue-collar work force living in the city and hitting the streets after a long work day.
It’s also the fifth-smallest city in Finland, based on geographical size, while being 30th biggest by population.
And this is your daily detail of Kerava, sponsored by Photour. Because you’re worth it.
In the same park there stands a boulder. A boulder with an old president’s face on the other side.
But we’re not here for presidents—we’re here for boulders.
And latex, perhaps.
But mainly boulders.
Bunny got real close with the boulder.
Reaaal close. She even touched it.
What a lucky boulder!
Luckily I’m mature enough to not do the “rock hard” joke, as I am an adult with a grown-up mature humour that does not entail phallic jokes.
Nope, nothing like that. Nothing about bulges either.
And so we saw it wise to end the photoshoot here. We had plenty of pink photos and videos, and pushing it further seemed unwise.
We had reached peak pinkness, and it was good. It was pink.
