PROJECT L: PART 113
Bunny in the Rain

Rain! It’s raining!

As if it wouldn’t be raining, as the Autumn has arrived. This year’s August in Finland had the most rainfall… like ever. Ever!

So we decided not to wait for a sunny day, because that day might’ve never come.

If we had waited, it had come, but we did not.

Oh well. We’re shootin’ in the rain, we’re shootin’ in the rain!

The never-ending rainfall had flooded the whole river and many of the areas that used to be walkable were no longer that—instead they were engulfed by the brown water and its surprisingly strong currents.

I don’t think that the water used to be this brown. There’s probably quite a lot of sediment mixed within.

Anyway, I wouldn’t want to swim there, nor drink from there.

Despite the rain, we made our best efforts to make the photos look good.

Sure, the lighting is a bit… dull, and the nature is a bit wet, but we wanted to take our chances by getting some photos in the rain.

We don’t have a lot of photos of latex in the rain, I think, despite how often it rains in Finland.

Even though it’s autumn, we were unable to find the mushrooms we were looking for; yellow or funnel chanterelles!

Bunny thought she had found one, but, alas, it was just a yellow mushroom that we were unable to identify.

Besides, if a mushroom isn’t a chanterelle, it’s useless!

I mean, shiitake mushrooms are good, too, but I don’t think we have any of those growing here naturally.

We had enough of the forest, as there was nothing new to shoot.

So, obviously, we walked to an another forest.

This forest, though, had another river (not the same, we checked!) flowing through it, with a kind-of-a-waterfall!

Yeah, okay, it’s more of a rapid than a waterfall.

But the most important part was that it was brown.

Also, the waterfall was blowing its brownness all over us in a mist that smelled bad.

I’m guessing this waterfall-rapid-river-thingy could’ve been a bit less brown, should there have not been ridiculous amounts of rainfall.

We had enough of the rain and the smelly rapid, so we left.

For good.

Also, Bunny’s catsuit left. And by leaving I mean that it was torn in its neck after this shoot, and multiple holes were found from around the suit.

We hope that the suit will be fixed soon, and it has been sent to its manufacturer for repairs—but we’re suspecting that the suit is living its last few miles even after the fixes. It’s been used a lot since 2020, I believe, and nothing is forever.

Especially not latex.

So, there is a Ko-Fi fundraiser for Bunny’s new suit, and while writing this article, it’s already at 84%! Project L has already made its donation to thank Bunny for her contribution to the project.

Thank you for another nice project. Isn’t Latex made to wear in rainy weather? I think it goes perfect with water of any kind, be it a lake (previous project) or a bit of rain.

  2. Very nice project, the light and subdued tones of the day make the latex and Bunny shine.
