Thank you.

It seems that this winter never ends. It just keeps on going and going, and—you guessed it—going.

We even had some glimpses of sun, some hope for clearer skies and perhaps the first sight of spring; but, alas, we had another snow storm hit Finland.

At least we happened to have one sunny day, which we gladly welcomed with today’s model, Bunny.

To think of it, I think this was our first shoot together with the sun actually shining light upon us!

With spring in the air, Bunny grabbed her wonderfully pink latex hoodie, and we were ready to hit the road.

Figuratively.

We did not actually punch the road, that would hurt our fists.

The night had been freezing. The ground still radiated its bitter coldness, and the winds were chilling us, especially Bunny, whenever we stepped into a shadow.

So, obviously, we started the day at a local café, with a cup of hot tea.

And a bit of cake. What good would a latex photo shoot be without a cake?

After a hot cup of tea, Bunny headed off to steal some icicles from a local potted thuja.

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the potted thuja, as it was ripped of its icy appendixes was, “Oh no, not again.”

Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the potted thuja had thought that, we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.

Would you be surprised, if I told you that this industrial-looking small street was actually part of an old, ironworks, founded in 1795?

You would?

Damn.

Anyway.

The Ruukki of Kellokoski was the first piece of industry in the town of Tuusula, where I live nowadays.

Nowadays it’s full of wonderful small shops, gyms and the said café, of course. There’s even a flea shop!

The location’s atmosphere is pretty chill, and seems that the entrepreneurs have built a wonderful community with each other.

Their Instagram account is in Finnish only, but I’d strongly suggest checking it out, as well as checking out the location if you happen to be visiting Southern Finland—especially during summer.

Again with the brown water.

Just like our previous photo shoot in the rainy woods, we’ve been again ambushed by the brown poop-coloured water of the Finnish rivers.

Trust me—most of Finland’s waters are extremely well-kept and clean, but there are a few exceptions.

And we just happen to find them.

On the way home, we did a little detour to Hyrylä, still within Tuusula, to get a glimpse of some old buildings that used to be part of a military garrison, if I’m not completely mistaken.

But that could never be, I’m always right.

Right?

Right?!

And that’s the story of Bunny’s pink latex hoodie. It’s a such wonderful piece of clothing; from afar it looks just like a regular hoodie, but it’s obviously a shiny thing.

So casual, but so wonderfully shiny! It’s the epitome of Project L, I would say.
